TAIWAN! - part 2
DAY 5: KAOSHIUNG -> TAICHUNG
after breakfast, we went to taichung. went to the 文武庙. then saw the 日月潭 oso. the lake is very pretty lor.
smart dog! :)
then after that was lunch. but i can't remember wad i ate. yah, then after lunch we went to this peacock garden.
white peacock? which one? LOL.
plum blossom! u can only see it in winter lor. it will only bloom when the temperature is low. cool right? 不经一番寒彻骨, 哪得梅花扑鼻香! :)
and we bought some royal jelly there. but it doesn't taste like honey at all. it's like so sour and tastes like vomit. eew..
then after that we went to 雾峰地震博物馆. then we saw all the remains of a school after the 921 earthquake. we also got to experience an earthquake of magnitude 6 on the ritcher scale. not that scary. maybe because we were not experiencing the real thing.
omg. see.
then we went to 逢甲夜市 for dinner.
we ate 大肠包小肠, which i din really like, this mushroom thing, 黄金署 (sweet potato),
muah chee 脆皮烘豆饼,
鸡蛋糕 and some desserts (豆花, 桂圆, 芋圆, etc).
then after dinner, we went to plaza international hotel. end of day 5! :)
DAY 6: TAICHUNG -> TAIPEI
ate breakfast at the hotel. and the food was nice. haha. then after breakfast, we went back to taipei. and we stopped to buy 凤梨酥. according to the the tour guide, this is the only shop in taiwan that sells 凤梨酥 that contains no additives. yah. so if u're going to taiwan, must buy the 凤梨酥 here. and the 凤梨酥 is nice. different from those in singapore.
then after that, we went to 忠烈祠 to watch the changing of guards' ceremony.
went to 故宫博物馆 next. saw all those chinese art treasures there. no photos cos we weren't allowed to take photos there.
after that was lunch at this restaurant at 伍角船板. and this was the last lunch we had at taiwan. :( haha. the place was like very nice. the furniture was very cute. haha. the but i think the food was ok. here are some photos we took there.
see the cup, plate and bowl. very cute hor? and that's muah chee. the brown thing with the toothpick there.

dun think u can see clearly. but that's the staircase. pretty hor?
that's the entrance. the wooden doors u see there are those automatic sliding doors. cool. haha.
then after that, we went to this feng shui place. yah. as in a place which tells u more about feng shui and stuff lidat. and i realise 13 is a lucky no! :D
then after that, we went to 士林夜市. it wasn't that kind of pasar malam with very little walking space and stuff lidat. it was like a hawker centre. haha. we ate 大饼包小饼, 鸡扒 and 芒果冰.
then got one more i dunno how to pronounce in chinese or hokkien. it's this oyster thing lor. show u the signboard. yah. that. then after that, we went to play the games there lor. those normal pasar malam games.
btw pikachu and doraemon are good friends. haha.
then after 士林夜市, we went to this restaurant for dinner. last dinner! got steamboat. but ate too much at 士林夜市 lor, so was quite full. so din eat much during dinner.
then after dinner, my sisters and i went to the 7-eleven to buy kinder surprise. haha. actually it was only me. cos i thought the egg inside got spongebob lor. but dun have. then they bought M&Ms. the drak chocolate and crispy mint flavour de. cos they thought singapore doesn't have these 2 flavours. but actually there is lor. haha. then after that we went to brother hotel. the last hotel. but it was the nicest hotel among the 6 hotels. watched tv until quite late and cos we dun have to wake up that early the next day. and we finished all the chips we bought on day 2. haha. yah. and that's the end on day 6! :D
DAY 7: TAIPEI -> SINGAPORE
woke up later than usual today. cos we didn't have any sightseeing that day. had breakfast at the hotel, as usual. and that was the last breakfast we had at taiwan. LOL. just need to leave the hotel at 11.45am. so watched tv in the hotel room and took photos! :D
erm.. 
3rd flight there. :) checked in our luggages and blah blah. then went window shopping at the shops there. and went to the gallery and took some photos of planes. :)
plane i was going to board home. :D
kinda miss taiwan leh. haiz.. but still.. anyway i still love singapore! :D and 4 hours' flight. and i was home. at around 6 plus. was damn tired lor. haha. ok. end. :D
