24 december 2005
celebrated christmas at my grandmother's house.. there were a lot of food! haha.. oh.. n i love the turkey.. ate a lot of that.. yah.. we watched tv n ate dinner.. after that went to play scrabble wif my cousins n sister..then played uno.. then played this game called snorta.. each player chooses an animal randomly and imitates the sound made by the animal.. everyone has to remember each player's representation.. cards are distributed evenly among all the players.. players quickly laid down the cards in their deck.. high alert for everyone.. time to spot similar animal cards on the table! tongue-tied players stumble to blurt out the animal sounds of the other player.. winner is one who is able to imitate the other player's animal sounds first.. loser then takes all the cards from the winner's deck.. understand? nvm if u dun.. after this we went to watch tv again.. stuffed myself with turkey again.. haha.. n there was this toy called storytelling santa.. there was this santa claus sitting on an armchair, telling stories n shaking his head at the same time.. i thought he looked a bit senile n blur.. haha.. after that we went home.. i saw this white lorry having plate no. YK9619C.. haha.. my initials! okay.. should have took a photo of it.. nvm lah.. anyway, i went home n watched tv again.. then went to sleep at around 12.30..

25 december
christmas day n my mum's birthday! ordered the Jolly Feast from pizza hut.. yay! there were two pizzas.. the holly jolly pizza n the seafood supreme.. there was this christmas party platter, which consisted of 12 pcs starry munchies, 4 pcs sweet 'n' spicy drumlets, 4 pcs honey roasted wings and 4 pcs cinnamon'n' sesame breadstix.. the holly jolly pizza was really cheesy n turkey-ish.. haha.. the cinnamon 'n' sesame breadstix, as its name suggests, tasted like cinnamon and sesame.. that's why i thought it sux.. the rest are quite okay.. by the way that was dinner.. after dinner, went to watch princess's diary.. after that went online.. then went to bed..

sec 1 registration today.. went to help out.. ushered the parents to the hall n stuff.. oh yes.. i fell n scratched my knee today.. shan't say why n how i fell.. but anyway.. thank you letch.. for tending to my wound.. yay! guides power! haha.. after that went to help out at canteen.. after that showed this lady the way to the hall.. helped her carry her stuff.. ha! see i'm so nice.. haha.. then there was this guy who asked yu xuan and i about stuff like higher tamil n CCAs.. then showed this parent around the sch.. took a look at the yearbook (2005).. then did some other stuff.. after that went home..

monica, izzah, ying yu, benazir, anna, patricia n i went to watch han ping's performance ytd at sun plaza.. he played quite a number of pieces on the electric organ.. wow.. so pro ah.. not bad leh.. he was so engrossed that his head moved wif the music.. like a world class organist.. haha.. okay.. we were cheering for him.. shouting his name.. yah.. haha.. everyone was like looking at us.. haha.. han ping was a bit malu.. haha.. sorry han ping.. we are from the HFC (or HPFC?)! Han Ping Fan Club! yay! after the performance, we went window shopping.. or rather i went window shopping.. haha.. we went to the star factory.. this arcade.. we went to this "soft toy n sweets catching machine".. u noe those kind of machine wif this grappling hook thingy, then u haf to try to move it to where the toy is, then lower it down to catch the toy? yah.. that machine.. $1 per try.. we tried a few times but we din get any toys (but we got some sweets).. we were sure that the machine was jus cheating us.. cos when we caught the toy, the hook would loosen its grip a bit.. the toy would drop back down.. haiz.. waste our time n money.. boo.. then went to Aries, Comics Connection n This Fashion.. went home at around 5.30pm.. then had my dinner.. wow.. there were A LOT of food.. a lot.. cos my sis's birthday.. okay.. there were fried fish, seaweed chicken, home-made fries, onion rings n fish balls.. haha.. so nice lo.. onion rings are my favourite.. haha.. ate quite a lot of that.. then watch tv.. then went to bed..

played badminton wif wan lin, chun kiat, krys n chuyun ytd.. again.. haha.. went to the cc.. yah. after that went to the park n played at the playground there.. haha.. we are still kids.. i love the swing.. very sandy there.. then chun kiat told us some ghost stories.. okay lah.. quite scary.. went home at around 6.15pm.. ahh.. missed spongebob squarepants.. T.T aiya.. nvm lah.. watch it today lor.. choir going to sing the spongebob squarepants theme songs leh.. yay!

council cohesion ytd.. went to pasir ris park.. haf so much fun there.. 1st activity was treasure hunt.. our grp name was ohana.. that's family in hawaiian.. all the grp names were in hawaiian because the theme was hawaiian dreams.. haha.. everyone had to wear a flower "bracelet" n haf a flower sticking out from the hair.. back to the treasure hunt.. we had to find six things.. "drinkable" coconut, 1 roll of toilet paper, 5 different seashells, 3 specs, 3 different photos taken wif outsiders n 1 unopened bottle of water (1.5 litre).. we had 5 different seashells, 3 specs, 3 different photos n 1 roll of paper towel.. if we cut the roll of paper towel into half, we would get 2 rolls of toilet paper.. haha.. we only needed to get the coconut then.. there wasn't any "drinkable" coconut in pasir ris park at that time.. but there are dried up ones.. so we jus grabbed one dried up coconut n hoped that it would pass the test.. sadly, it didn't.. haiz.. so we went to white sands to buy a "drinkable" coconut from ntuc fairprice.. we bought the coconut n oso 6 ferraro rocher chocolates.. haha.. then we went back to pasir ris park.. yay! we had completed our task! after that, we played captain's ball.. non-sec fours vs sec fours.. haha.. din noe who won cos i went to wash my feet.. why? cos my feet went into the mud.. first the left foot, then the right one.. haha.. mei shan accompanied me to the toilet n got her foot in the mud on the way.. poor mei shan.. after that was the barbecue! yay! food! there were chicken wings, hotdogs, crabmeat, satay n many more.. can't rmb le.. nafeeshah n izzah were making chocolate bananas for us.. haha.. then we started singing the banana song.. haha.. at around 9.. monica, izzah, puay ying, ranjini, nanthini n i went home together.. din stay for the last activity.. heard that it was some couple thingy.. not sure lah.. took bus to khatib, then took mrt back to amk.. reached home at around 10.. took a bath n went to bed.. din take a very long time to fall asleep.. so tired..

I'M BACK! DO U MISS ME? I'M SURE U DO! haha.. this camp is actually a combined council camp wif ngee ann sec.. yah.. it's called X-Camp.. there should be 9 ppl in our group.. but only 7 went.. dawn, vi ting, me, guo zhang, lydia, ashley n lutfi.. we were in grp 8.. grp's name is xoclatl.. yay! grp 8 rox! haha..

day 1
we played amazing race around singapore.. we went to jurong bird park, bedok swimming complex and many other places.. we had to complete the tasks we needed to do at the places.. we din haf time to finish all.. but we did most of them.. then we went to the jetty at changi village.. need to take bumboat to pulau ubin.. i din really enjoy the ride.. haha.. scared of water mah.. hehe.. after that we had to make our way to the campsite n pitch the tent.. then we ate dinner.. after dinner we had some activites, like finding light sticks, candles.. yah.. then we went to sleep.. yay!
day 2
woke up early to see sunrise.. but we din noe where the sun would be rising.. so we ended up looking at clouds.. haha.. then we did morning exercise.. then we ate breakfast.. breakfast was jus bread n milo or coffee.. then we discussed our campfire item.. we had this very weird dance at first.. a bit like tribal dance or something.. but we did another dance in the end.. haha.. then we had to cook our own lunch.. we ate maggi mee n button mushrooms.. in the afternoon we had another amazing race.. but this time it was around pulau ubin.. we needed to go to some places on pulau ubin n complete tasks.. we were trying to find belatok hut but we got lost.. yah.. so scary.. but we got help from the OC.. we saw a komodo dragon jaywalking.. haha.. it's so big! we oso saw beehives n spider webs.. we got a lot of mosquito bites.. we oso got sunburnt.. my arms are red now.. then we went back to the campsite n discussed our campfire item.. we then ate dinner.. there were curry chicken, curry cabbage n curry rice.. so hot leh.. tongue was burning.. ahhhhh.. but it was okay after a while.. after dinner we practised the mass dance.. it was one of the campfire items.. finally i remembered the dance steps.. yay! then i learnt the ASC cheer.. but i could only remember a bit.. haha.. i'm suffering from SSTML.. Severe Short Term Memory Loss.. haha.. so i did only the last part of the cheer.. jus had to shout, "ASC!".. haha.. then after that was the campfire.. yay.. it was so fun.. we danced n did cheers.. after campfire we had the nightwalk.. we had to walk through part of the sensory trail alone.. omg.. alone leh.. so scary.. we were grp 8.. so we had to wait for a very long time before we could start the nightwalk.. we were the nightwalk grp by grp.. starting from grp 1.. so we took a nap at the pulau ubin jetty.. we were supposed to wait there.. i think i slept for 2 hours.. wow.. can't believe it.. so long.. then someone woke me up.. it was our turn.. we then made our way to the "entrance" of the sensory trail.. we were told that there were yellow, green n red lightsticks along the trail.. yellow lightsticks along the first part of the trail n green ones along the second part of the trail.. we were not supposed to walk on paths wif red lightsticks.. then we went in one by one.. lutfi first, followed by lydia, followed by guo zhang, followed by me, followed by vi ting, then dawn.. i was shaking when i went in.. there were no lightsticks along the first section of the trail.. so i started shouting, "why no lightsticks? why no lightsticks?" then i saw a yellow lightstick, then further on i saw another one.. so i jus followed the yellow lightsticks.. after that i din see the lightsticks.. so i freaked out.. i was about to go the wrong way when vi ting came to the rescue! yay! vi ting, u rock! we went on further and saw the lightsticks.. we followed the lightsticks.. then finally.. we reached the end of the trail! we waited for the rest of our grp members, grp 9 n 10.. after that we went back to the campsite n slept..
day 3
last day of camp.. we ate breakfast.. after that we packed our stuff n unpitched our tents.. we then went to the jetty.. haiz.. had to take bumboats back.. again.. haiz.. but the ride was rather short.. then we went to ngee ann sec to clean our tents.. after that was debriefing n some other stuff.. then we went back to anderson.. we bade farewell to our new friends.. wah.. so sad.. =(

i enjoyed myself at the camp though we din get to bathe.. but we made a lot of new friends n learnt a lot of stuff.. i din regret going.. yay! X-Camp rox! =)
